Advertising/Editorial Children's Books Greeting Cards
For the past 25 years my drawings have been used to "warm up" technical information, show the humor of a would-be handyman, make a serious social point, or grab attention in food, product or services advertising.
I have illustrated well over 70 books for kids. From the silly to the scientifically accurate, my work can span a broad range of content and emotion. While I still use pen and ink, I now also employ brush and ink for the times when a bolder, more lyrical line is desired.
I have been creating greeting cards for over 20 years with my brother, Carl. We work with Recycled Paper Greetings in the general market and for cards with a specifically Christian message, we work with DaySpring. This portfolio shows some of the styles and techniques we use.
